And the best part is that you can do these exercises any time any place - while you are watching TV, waiting for your inbox to open at work or while waiting for your professor to enter your class. Exercise 1 Stand or sit comfortably with your pOSture straight. Do not slouch. Rest your chin on your chest. Now slowly raise you head and tilt backwards. Go as far as you can, but within your comfort limits. Don't strain your neck muscles. Shut your mouth tight so that you can feel the neck muscle stretch. Count to 10. Bring your head back to normal position. Repeat. You can slowly increase the count of this exercise to 10 times a day. Exercise 2 Stand comfortably. Keep your head straight. Do not tilt. Now open your mouth wide and stick your tongue out as far as possible. Count to 10 and relax. You can do this exercise as many times as you wish. Exercise 3 Sit upright. Now tilt your head backwards as far as you comfortably can. Open and close your mouth several times. Feel the muscles stretch. Do this as many times as possible.
