Can I get pregnant if I miss a period

What is the possibility of getting pregnant if I missed a period? Will I still ovulate if I skip a period? I am now 40 days late for beginning my cycle. I took an ovulation test last month, and then my husband and I had intercourse. I have been having a few early pregnancy symptoms, but when I took a pregnancy test, the result was negative. Could I be pregnant even though the test results was negative?

If you are missing period for more than weel do multiple pregnancy test to check chance of pregnancy. If you are not pregnant then check with your doctor for reason behind delay in period. some times it happen one pregnancy result not comes correct due to way it may tested. so repeated test is required to confirm pregnancy.

could someone please help me i had sex and we used a condom but i dont know if it slipped off because the boy was wanking before we had sex with the condom on but he wud of seen if it ripped and so would i and he would of told me because our familys are close and he wouldnt want me to get pregnant. my last period was on the 18th of august and its now the 20th or 21st of september i think and i stil havent got my period but people say it could be late becasue im stressing/ im very young and i need help. i got the pill for when i get my period i can start taking it for 21days if i took it now would it help?
